THIS IS NOT JUST A SALE A THIS IS A KINGS SALE!

Kings Group recently carried out their first ever January Sale, in line with the traditional High Street sales that are so common after Christmas. However, the idea of Estate Agents taking this innovative step, is pretty unusual.

Having said that, it is important that any campaign has a balance to it, and ultimately, the only way to judge its success, is by results, and by sharing the experiences of the customers or clients, and in Kings case, this is the vendors.

One particular success story, was that of Mr and Mrs Watts of Enfield, who wanted to sell their property and move to the coast in Hastings.

Mr and Mrs Watts bought their property through Kings in Enfield Town several years ago, so it was a natural move to contact them to sell through Kings, as they had been happy with the service they had received as buyers.

Mr and Mrs Watts were concerned about the state of the housing market, having seen the dour and gloomy news over recent months, but were focussed on achieving their objective of moving to a dream home by the sea.

It was important to Kings to try and help them realise their dream so they set about marketing the property in Cecil Avenue, and arranged several viewings at Mr and Mrs Watts’ home. However, it was evident that a lot of the potential buyers were not committed at the price it was being marketed, as they too had seen the gloomy predictions, but more so the predictions, that property prices were set to fall further.

The Watts listened to all the feedback from the viewings they had via Kings, and agreed to a price reduction of 10% from the original asking price of ÂŁ279995, to try and get an offer agreed. This coincided perfectly with the Kings January Sale, and with some more innovative marketing, and a new design board, they all set about the objective of selling the property.

“The innovative way Kings marketed our property in their January Sale was unique, and we felt even more confident we had made the right choice in not only using Kings, but in taking their advice and feedback on the price seriously” said Mr Watts.

Before too long, more viewings were arranged, and an offer was agreed with a first time buyer, who was delighted with their proposed purchase. In addition to which, there were several other interested parties, waiting in the wings!

A delighted Mr and Mrs Watts said, “When we finally had a firm offer on the table, we could go and look seriously at properties on the Coast, and although we did drop our asking price by 10%, we were able to make up for this on the property we eventually agreed to purchase.”

Matt Wells, Manager at Kings Enfield Town Office commented, “ This is a true success story where a committed and motivated vendor works with us to realise their dream, in not only selling at the right price, but in benefitting from an onward property purchase, at a discounted price. By working together, and looking at the evidence and advice we  presented, The Watts, have made something happen, when all around, they are told it wont!”

“Whilst asking vendors to reduce their asking price is never an easy discussion, it proves that if you present the right evidence, and have the right marketing strategy, it is possible to be successful in selling your property. The January Sale was a perfect canvas for this to happen, and although we have highlighted just one success, this is echoed across all our offices, as we reach the culmination of our campaign.” Said Matt.

The final words from Mr and Mrs Watts were, “We would always recommend Kings to our family and friends, and have nothing but praise for the way they handled our Sale, and we could only give them 10 our of 10 for what they did. The January Sale was a great idea, and it certainly worked for us!”

This is just one of the many campaigns and marketing strategies that Kings will adopt, and look out for the Moving Homes Campaign which has started in earnest, in an area near you!

Not just another sale – This is a Kings Sale!
