This is not just a Sale, this is a Kings Sale!

Everyone looks forward to the New Year with anticipation about what it is likely to bring them.

 

Well what about a New Home in the New Year?

 

The January sales are one of the most anticipated events of the year – and why should 2009 be any different? So much so, Kings are having their very own version of the January Sale, with the co-operation of their clients!

 

Kings have written to all their vendors to ask if they want to participate in this exciting event. After all who ever heard of an Estate Agent having a sale?

 

This will be a significant opportunity for both buyers and sellers to take full advantage of the current property market conditions.

 

Asked why he thought this idea was different, Karl Knipe, Partner at Kings said, “ Everyone has seen in the press comments from the Professional bodies such as RICS and even the Land Registry, that prices have fallen as much as 12% in the last year. In reality this is more like 25 to 30%, as these reductions still have to be factored in to the data. As Agents we are getting the true picture more up to the minute, and we believe that we are nearing the bottom of the cycle, and there are some very good deals to be had, and even more when we start the sale! This is a very good time to buy and sell, as at some point this will turn and we will see some of the bargains disappear.”

 

“We are already seeing more activity from potential buyers, and vendors that are realistic about their expectations on price, will be well placed to make the most of this opportunity. This also helps with their onward purchase negotiations, so it is in fact all relative.” Says Karl.

 

“This is not about us having some sort of “fire sale”, but it is about us getting our clients to set the right expectation on price, that is our job. We are not just about sticking up a For Sale board and leaving the client to their own destiny. It is the added value extras such as better marketing through new boards, and the investment we have made in technology to get the best deal for our client, that makes it, and us different”.

 

Keep your eyes open, and look for the Special For Sale boards with “January Sale – Reduced by 10%” on them at the participating properties.

 

Of course any vendor, can choose not to participate, but the one thing is certain is that this will generate more local activity, and Kings will attach this with their usual gusto and professionalism, to offer the best service to their clients.
