The Joesph Clarke Invitational Cricket - Sunday 28 June

The great and the good gathered at the Buckhurst Hill Cricket Club for a specially organised cricket match on Sunday 28 June, which featured Buckhurst Hill against a specially picked team of invited players, who were playing on behalf of the Joseph Clarke School.

Featured in the side for the school were none other than Captain, world famous sports agents and Leyton Orient owner, Barry Hearn. Alongside him was former Durham CCC "legend" Simon Brown, who travelled from Newcastle to play for the team.

The day was well supported by friends and family of the school, and Kings were on hand to dish out balloons to the children, and support the team. Taking pride of place for all to see was the brand new Minibus sponsored by Kings and Openwork!

The day also featured a BBQ, stalls, and everyone had a thoroughly great day out, despite the fact that unfortunately the days honours went to the home team, Buckhurst Hill.

This is a worthy cause and one that Kings are proud to be associated with, and our thanks go out to all that attended on the day, and to those who made it possible for the school to get their bus!
